Strip work

A large portion of the work we do is in converting raw materials into 10mtr strips of any width. Acorn rubber has a comprehensive range of operational slitting machines, which allow us to produce any thickness between 1mm and 25mm and any width between 5mm and 700mm. Our uniquely neat and uniform end product can come with or without three types of self-adhesive tape.

Pressed Items

We have a wide range of machines to produce pressed washers and custom gaskets from our materials. With a comprehensive range of hydraulic presses, the range of items we can produce quickly and at low cost is huge. Over many years, we have built up an extensive catalogue of existing tools for washers, pads and gasketing.

Skilled staff are able to hand make prototypes, connection sleeves and non-standard cord rings. Our team here, have the skill and experience to produce many custom-made items.

Adhesive Backing

Acorn rubber holds a large stock of several types of adhesive backing.

  • AR990 hot melt double sided tape
  • AR991 acrylic double sided adhesive tape
  • AR992 reinforced transfer tape
  • AR994 polypropylene tape

We have the expertise and equipment to work with and neatly apply backing to many different materials. Our in-house developed methods make us industry leaders in working with adhesive backing.

With a large stock of full rolls, we can supply raw material for customers to work with themselves.
